Situated at the start of the Garden Route at the mouth of the Goukou river, the Stonehouse Lodge is a private 70 hectare farm specializing in olives, game, and studrooi-poenskop cattle. The farm has two guest houses that both have WIFI, The Stone House & The White House. The navigable Goukou river stretches down to the warm Indian Ocean at its mouth 6km away. The game-fenced farm has a 400 meter river frontage and extends inland incorporating 3 indigenous canyons which attract wildlife such as bushbuck, duiker and greysbok as well as a variety of bird life. A large freshwater dam provides the fishing enthusiast with excellent bass fishing opportunities. On the upper section of the farm visitors can walk through the olive orchard and beyond to experience the diverse indigenous fauna and flora.
